SourcedProvenance tag - claim backed by a named anchor source with a working URL + page anchor (Gate A re-verified).
InferredProvenance tag - analytical claim built from one or more Sourced inputs; explicit reasoning chain documented.
OpinionProvenance tag - founder-attributed judgement, clearly labelled, never presented as fact.
HedgedProvenance tag - claim where evidence is partial; weakened wording (may, suggests, appears) used deliberately.
MATERIAL GAPProvenance marker - the assembled evidence does not support the analytical step required at this point. Surfaced explicitly instead of silently filled from model parametric memory. Resolution: scope reduction, new source pull, or analyst note.
